General information

Psychiatric services at Skylight Counseling Center provide an avenue to treat mental health concerns using medication, diagnostic evaluation, and ongoing management. These services are effective in treating a range of mental health disorders on their own or in conjunction with therapy. Skylight employs Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) who are able to assess, diagnose, prescribe medication, and provide psychotherapy. Working with our PMHNPs is a collaborative process where you and the provider work together to establish goals and make sure medication and other forms of treatment are working for you.

Katherine is a doctorally prepared, board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She brings with her to Skylight comprehensive experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, with additional expertise in Autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She provides both medication management and supportive therapy for her patients, and believes in the power of compassionate, interdisciplinary care and partnering with individuals to help them achieve their goals through treatment.
