About Nicole
Nicole became a therapist to create a safe, welcoming environment to process and heal. She brings warmth, authenticity, and a sense of humor into to therapy room and encourages her clients to show up as their truest selves!
Nicole is dedicated to the work of identity exploration and development. She believes that it is important to recognize how these processes inform an individual's sense of self, as well as their relationships to others. Nicole specializes in the unpacking of systemic issues regarding race, sexuality, and gender. She is well situated to engage in meaningful conversation with individuals, couples, and families, is LGBTQIA+ and gender-affirming, and provides therapy that welcomes all racial and ethnic backgrounds.
Nicole is an intern at Skylight Counseling Center and is working toward her Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy at Adler University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University and worked as an Early Childhood Educator in Connecticut prior to pursuing her graduate studies here in Chicago.
Nicole knows from experience just how much courage it takes to openly share your story with a therapist. She is committed to honoring your journey and working alongside you to create the changes you desire and deserve.
