About Kara
Kari aims to cultivate a climate of inclusion where clients can feel safe and cared for while exploring beliefs, values, and attachment needs. She is trauma-informed and emotionally-focused while incorporating mindfulness and meditation. She believes this holistic lens fosters a strong therapeutic alliance with clients and uses that secure base to explore, discover, and share deeper emotional experiences. This approach helps clients maximize their potential in a nurturing environment, shifting from distressing cycles to new levels of understanding and closeness.
Kari has a humanistic approach using attachment science and works with multicultural and diverse populations specializing in relationship and family dynamics, divorce, infidelity, trauma, self-esteem, adjustment, and identity issues. Kari sees adolescents, individuals, couples, and families.
Kari holds a Master’s Degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Adler University. She is also currently in her last year of the Ph.D. program and working on her dissertation.
