About Kevin 

Kevin Lanham seeks to empower clients to become owners of their lives.


Kevin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who uses trust and openness to help clients more deeply connect with themselves and others. When one is not living purposefully their life may be marked with significant distress. Kevin is adept at quickly creating a supportive environment and illuminating hidden strengths that help people manage this stress and find new purpose. Whether it be the challenges of adolescence, finding independence, or creating a deeper sense of fulfillment. Kevin is experienced at helping people from all walks of life with job dissatisfaction, academic underachievement, lack of independence, and loneliness.

Kevin has extensive experience working with young men, in particular those who retreat into a computer and video games. As a gamer himself, he loves connecting with these individuals and working to develop a true sense of passion in their lives. Kevin also cares deeply about healing intimate relationships and improving parent-child bonds. 

 

Kevin combines the power of the therapeutic relationship with a grounding in psychotherapy theory and research to offer tangible results.

 

Kevin Lanham graduated from the Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology program from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. He has worked at Skylight Counseling Center since 2012 and leads the Men’s Group, which offers a space for men to connect, support, and create change in their lives.
