About Madeleine

Madeleine Glenn is an intern at Skylight Counseling Center and is currently working towards her Masters Degree in Counseling at Northwestern University. Madeleine attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She uses her background in English to foster creativity in her work as a therapist, and believes that everyone’s story has value. 


Madeleine treats many challenges that clients face including anxiety, depression, transition issues, LGBTQ+ related identity crisis, trauma, sexual trauma, conflict resolution, work/job related struggles, interpersonal and relational issues, identity conflict, and neurodivergence. Madeleine is committed to looking at how systematic factors like racism and sexism affect client wellness, and believes it is essential to address these aspects of her client’s lives. Her practice is inclusive of all races, genders, ages, religions, and sexualities.


Madeleine is experienced with a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, and utilizes aspects of narrative, psychodynamic, and person-centered therapy in order to tailor to client’s needs. Madeleine takes an integrative approach to counseling, and believes that each client brings with them unique experiences which require adaptive treatment. She is committed to creating relationships built on non-judgement, empowerment, and genuineness in order to promote client life satisfaction. Madeleine views counseling as an opportunity to reduce other’s pain and suffering, to manage life’s challenges, and find fulfillment, self-acceptance, and purpose.
