David created Skylight Counseling Center in 2011, which is dedicated to the growth and development of individuals, couples and families. Combining traditional psychotherapy and modern forms of healing, Skylight helps hundreds of people annually to find deeper passion and meaning in their lives. He is also the founder of The Skylight Foundation, a nonprofit extension of Skylight Counseling Center which provides affordable mental health services for those in need, as well as Skylight Healing Center which focuses on alternative forms of healing.

Through Skylight, David has been bringing forth new modalities of treatment which are helping to take psychotherapy into its next era. Today David runs Skylight, manages his expanding clinical staff, offers numerous professional trainings and workshops, and sees clients on a regular basis. He has a specialty in working with people who are highly sensitive, empathic, intuitive, or clairvoyant and who consider themselves healers, therapists, body workers, energy workers, or caretakers.
