Rooted & Resilient is a nature-based therapy group designed to support adults who are stressed, burnt out, and longing for a fresh way to heal, in community and outdoors. Step away from the chaos and into the quiet wisdom of nature to reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural world.
Each session, you will receive:
● 90 minutes of guided, group therapy ● An experiential lesson in slowing down and healing● A guided conversation with others who are grappling with the same challenges● A non-judgmental setting, facilitated by local nature enthusiast and licensed mental health counselor, Cindy Nielsen
Over the course of the season, you’ll be introduced to tools that support you at your best, and skills to help you tolerate and care for yourself at your worst. No prior experience is necessary! All you need is a willingness to step outside, rain or shine, and to be kind to yourself and others.

Cost

The cost is $50 per week for a seat with a minimum six-week commitment for a total of $300. Groups are ongoing and open to new members when space permits. We accept BCBS PPO and Aetna insurance and are happy to provide superbills for submission to other insurance providers to claim reimbursement under out-of-network mental health benefits.
