About Zoë

Zoë Miller (she/her) is passionate about cultivating a therapeutic relationship that is builton authenticity, respect, and compassion. Her warm, non-judgemental style creates anenvironment where clients feel safe, connected and empowered to work toward positivechange in their lives. Zoë approaches therapeutic work through a trauma-informed lens, meeting clients where they are with empathy, and cultural humility.
Zoë is a Chicago-native and queer-identified therapist. She works with adolescents,teens, college students and adults with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, school-related issues, self-esteem, identity exploration (LGBTQIA+) and life transitions. Zoë works from a strengths-based approach and incorporates aspects of DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to help clients develop emotional regulation skills and grow toward their goals and values. 

Depending on the client’s needs Zoë may also pull aspects from creative arts therapies. Zoë has a social work background in community health and public school settings. She has experience helping individuals navigate the medical system and working collaboratively with students and parents to navigate the IEP process.
Zoë completed her Bachelor of Arts at Oberlin College, with a master in Psychology anda minor in Studio Art. She completed her Master of Arts in Social Work, Policy and Administration at the University of Chicago. 
In her free time Zoë enjoys making art, roller skating and spending time outdoors.
