About Christine

Christine Betsill (she/her) is passionate about supporting individuals, couples and families and firmly believes in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. She takes a personable, client-centered approach that fosters healing and growth through empathy, compassion and culturally humble care. Christine works collaboratively with clients to create an opportunity for deeper awareness, transformation and holistic well-being
Christine specialized in adult and relational neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism), issues of shifting identities related to caregiving and family life-stage transitions, challenges of emerging adulthood, and supporting relationships that feel stuck or challenged. In sessions, she utilizes authenticity, curiosity, directness and humor to facilitate positive changes in client's lives and relationships.

Christine has a background in the performing arts and is still engaged in creative processes in music and dance. She holds a Bachelors in Music and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University. Christine deepened her clinical practice as a Post Graduate Fellow at The Family Institute. Additionally, Christine is a certified teacher of the somatic practice The Alexander Technique.
