High School Athletes Counseling Group

Huddle: High School Athletes Counseling Group

Playing high school sports should be fun, right? Well, here's the truth. Too often the pressure to perform and please parents and coahces becomes overwhelming. Athletes can become obsessed comparing themselves to teammates and opponents and too often feel inadequate. And so, high school athletes sometimes struggle with anxiety, depression, relationships, and disconnection. Huddle is a virtual co-ed counseling group for high school athletes to connect and talk about their experiences, thoughts, and feelings.

Facilitator: Roger Cahak, MA, CTP
